TRAVELS!

Oh, my goodness gracious, I have been extremely fortunate to have spent the last 10 days traveling, from Avignon and Paris, France to Rome and Florence, Italy. I spent a few days in Avignon and just under a week in Paris with my group from school. On Tuesday, my friend, Alexa, met me in Paris and we spent the afternoon in Paris and then made our way by plane to Rome, Italy. We spent Tuesday night through Thursday evening in Rome and packed our days with all of the ancient wonders that make Rome the remarkable attraction that it is. I think that it is safe to say that Alexa and I both fell in love with Rome…and its gelato ;-) ! On Thursday evening we took a train from Rome to Florence. We walked just over an hour on foot to our B&B and finally settled in. I have done more walking in the past few weeks then I have in my entire life and my feet most certainly do not appreciate me right now (I will make sure to treat them to a massage when I get home). We spent all day wandering central Florence and hope to get into the countryside for a bit tomorrow, before we head to Venice by train.

We will only be in Venice from Saturday night until Sunday evening, when Alexa and I will go our separate ways—her to London and I will be meeting Evan in Munich, Germany!!! Evan and I are planning to spend a day or so in Munich and then we will be taking a road trip through Switzerland for about four days. The following are just a few (of my many) snapshots of my travels. I will be sure to add a few more from my up-and-coming travels.

I hope all is well back in the States!!

Xoxo
